Terms Of Service

I/we wish to participate in Stockton and Thornaby Canoe Club organised events and trips.
I/we understand that canoeing can be a hazardous activity, which is undertaken at my/our own risk.
I/we agree to abide by the constitution and rules of the club and to take due note of any directives as given by officials of the club in the interest of my/our safety.
I/we confirm that I/we do not suffer from any disability or medical condition that may render me unfit for strenuous exercise.*
I/we confirm that I/we have never been barred or excluded from taking part in any sports or youth organisation or subject to any SOPO order.

* Should a medical condition exist, this will not necessarily preclude you from membership/participation, but it must be declared. Should you be in any doubt, advice should be sought from your family doctor.

Stockton and Thornaby Canoe Club maintains an electronic database of members information for club purposes only. Information will be made available to coaches where necessary and in the interests of your safety. We provide British Canoeing non-identifiable information annually as part of our affiliation for statistical purposes. Stockton and Thornaby Canoe Club may take and use photographs of members attending events or paddling for promotional purposes.
